Many of these paintings are of areas we have visited when traveling into the Outback of Australia.  We have been traveling with either our outback camper trailer or a caravan, every Winter for many years now and absolutely love it!

A number of these sketches were done on our trip into far Western Queensland and the Northern Territory in 2015.  I promised myself that I would do a sketch a day every day - and that is what I did!  So many of these sketches were done en plein air and represented the view right in front of me at that time and they were all done in watercolour, pen and ink.  It was a fun exercise.

I also love to sketch the beaches around where I live and places we visit like Sydney.

Our little dog Bindi is a Tenterfield Terrier (but looks more like a Jack Russell) and has traveled with us all around Australia.  She is such a character, I have decided to create sketches about her.  

Bindi's best friend is Rocky - a boxer.  Rocky is younger than Bindi by one year, but he is a much bigger dog.  Rocky has also traveled the countryside with us and his parents and these sketches are about their adventures together.

As a side note, I have to say that Bindi is in charge!  Rocky defers to her and Bindi defends him.  All Rocky wants to do is play!

This is a collection of large and small floral artworks.  

I really try to create some movement in my paintings and I especially love painting sailing boats in rough conditions.  

I have only done a few wildlife paintings and they are mostly based around the animals/birds of the Australian Outback.  I hope to do more in the future.
